After graduating from the Department of Urban Engineering, Tokyo University in 1999, joined Kubota Corporation. While working there, was involved in the plant design for sewage treatment facilities and engaged in the development of next-generation centrifugal dehydrators (devices that separate sludge into water and solids). Learned the fundamentals of machinery through repeatedly disassembling and assembling mechanical products on site to improve quality.
Worked at Ooi Patent Office from 2002 to 2003, registered as a patent attorney in 2004, and worked at Kyowa Patent and Law Office from 2004 to 2012. Completed the BSKB Summer Training Program at Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch in the United States in 2008. Co-managed Maxwell International Patent Office from 2012 to 2021.
Founded Nihonbashi Intellectual Property Comprehensive Office in 2021. In the same year, appointed as an expert supporter (IP division) for the Japan Patent Office’s I-OPEN PROJECT.
Since 2020, has been hosting the weekly live broadcast “Chizai Jitsumu Online” with Professor Oshidani of IPX, a patent professional corporation, every Thursday.
